Redevelopment of the hospital which started in October 1996 completed in December 2000. This has given the hospital a cutting edge in the delivery of care to the patients.
Gleneagles Medical Centre, Penang being the first private hospital in Penang & the Northern Region to be accorded with 3 Years Full Accreditation by The Malaysian Society for Quality In Health (MSQH) for the period from 28th Oct 2002 - 27th Oct 2005.
